FAQ

  • What happens after I placed an order?
After placing your order you will receive a personal email. Normally your order will be shipped within a week. Once a week I ship all orders, so depending on when you placed your order, it can take 1 to 7 days. Once I have packed the order you will receive a tracking number to follow your parcel.

  • What is the approximate shipping time after my order is ready?
BE / NL: 1-3 business days
    Europe: 3-7 business days

These shipping times might vary due to conditions outside my control.
  • What can you tell me about shipping costs?
Once you have selected your products and filled in further details for shipping the exact shipping costs will be clear. In our shipping policy you can find some rates. If your country isn't amoungst the countries mentioned, you may always contact me evi.radoes@gmail.com and we'll let you know the shipping rate a.s.a.p.

  • What happens if my pottery arrives broken?
I always do my best to pack it as good as I can, but unfortunately it can sometimes still brake. Items that are damaged upon arrival will be replaced as soon as possible. Just take some photos of it and contact me. When the item is still in stock, I will send a new one right away. If it has to be made, it might take 4-6 weeks.

  • Who is responsible for import taxes?
Buyers are responsible for any handling fees, custom- and import taxes that may apply.

  • Do you accept returns, exchanges and cancellations?
Naturally, you may always return your items or cancel your order. In case of returning please contact me maximum 2 days after receiving your pottery and ship your item(s) back within 10 days of delivery. You may send the pottery back to my studio, the same address as where it came from. After receiving the pottery back (unbroken) in the studio, the refunds will be transferred back to your credit card or original method of paymentIn case of cancellation, just send me an email and I will cancel your order.
An importent note: the buyer is responsible though for the initial and return shipping costs. This means I will refund the price of the product(s), but not the shipping costs. Should the item be damaged upon return, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value, so please if you should return pack as carefully as possible.

  • What else do I need to know about your pottery?
All my products are wheel thrown, glazed and finished by me. Each piece is unique and items may slightly difference in size and color from one another. Glazes may vary from piece to piece, and between each firing. Sometimes items might be not totally round due to the high temperature they go through for strength and durability. The weight can also sometimes vary between the same kind of pieces. I will always try to choose as similar pieces as possible within one order. But keep in mind, these small differences in shape, color and weight are actually what creates the character and beauty, and emphasize the difference between hand made and industrial factory made products.

  • How do I take care of the pottery?
All my pottery is made from stoneware clay to make sure they can easily withstand everyday use. You may place them in the dish washer - as do I, but handwash is recommended if you can as regular dishwasher may shorten its lifespan.
Greasy and heavily coloring products are advised to remove as quick as possible as they may leave stains if they are left on too long. Avoid placing in extreme hot or cold environments such as an oven or freezer, as this could cause thermal shock and result in fragility and cracking and / or breakage.

  • What should I do if I have another question?
Please contact me if you have any problems or questions via evi.radoes@gmail.com. I am always happy to help!

  • I live in the UK. What are the consequences of Brexit for my purchase?
It might be, that taxes are charged upon you. This involves Import VAT, custom duties and a clearance fee. We did our best to be as well informed as possible, but custom regulations are still not clear. We asked several customers to keep us informed, and some of them reported tax charges and some of them did not. Hopefully in the future we can provide you with more detailed information. Visit https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty to see current information on behalf of the UK government.
